This past year Pelham underwent an initiative to define our brand. Like many cities experiencing rapid growth along the Highway 31 corridor, Pelham had not taken time over decades to define what made our city truly unique and set it apart from others. Our brand message is all about thriving in Pelham, and what makes us unique are our amenities around recreation – both indoor and outdoor. With the state’s largest park in our boundaries, two NHL-size sheets of ice, an internationally recognized racquet club, and a beautiful golf course, Pelham is unique. The Canopy is perfectly positioned as an entrance leading to Oak Mountain State Park and sharing space with our Civic Complex and Ice Arena and Oak Mountain Amphitheater, to complement our brand by offering a distinctive combination of activity, entertainment, shopping and residential.
Pelham’s greenway trail will run through the Canopy and offer a direct connection from the city park to Oak Mountain State Park.
